• Disk drives (all types of disk drive architectures & parameters)
• Using a processor number to read processor detail [Speed, Cache capacity, Processor types….etc]
• Power supply (all types of power supplies, Watt, Volt, Amp rating) |

Module - 02 "CONFIGURING FULLY FUNCTIONAL COMPUTER SYSTEM" |

• Assembling & disassembling any type of computer system.
• Repairing, Upgrading & Servicing any type of computer system
• Testing a computer system (Partitioning, creating file system, booting from active DOS-partition & BIOS setup configuration)
• Installing NT technology operating system (XP, Server 2003 …etc) from command prompt (none bootable CD) & Using a bootable CD.
• Using O/S tools to measure the performance of the system
• Trouble shooting installation problems in detail (file copy errors, stop errors. HAL errors, ….etc)
• Installing & Using recovery console to troubleshoot & customize O/S boot (NTLDR, NTDETECT, MBR, DLL corruptions & SOS, base video, maxmem, noguiboot, options )
• Unattended O/S installation (creating an answer file & automating the installation)
• Creating bootable O/S CD with an answer file.
• Dual boot configuration with none Microsoft O/S (XP, Vista with Linux O/S) |
